This temple, established in 1936 by Maharishi Mehi Das on the banks of the Ganges at Manihari, is a major center of meditation and spiritual practice for the people around. First of all, Maharishi ji used to make two huts with his own hands and propagate the good thought of Santmat through regular satsang. Later the Santmat Satsang temple was constructed here. There is a significant number of women participating in the satsang here, which is a reflection of the people's love and faith in the ashram. Here many national and international saints completed their meditation and gave the message of love and peace to the people. In this context, the name of Swami Dalbahadur Baba of Nepal and Acharya of Santmat Shri Sant Sevi Maharaj ji is noteworthy, it was here in 1954-1955 that Gurudev organized the All India Santmat Convention, which is a major event in the history of Santmat.
